Outdoor Parking

Somewhere to put the camper when the season's over.

Spaces from $35 a month. HOA rules, a driveway that's already full, a boat that won't clear the garage door — most people don't have room for the fun stuff at home. We have open-lot spaces on the same property as the storage units.

  • Travel trailers, fifth wheels and motorhomes
  • Boats on trailers, pontoons and jet skis
  • Utility, equipment and enclosed cargo trailers
  • Same 24-hour access as the storage units
  • Pull-through room — no jackknifing a 30-footer in the dark
  • Month to month — no long-term contract, leave when you’re ready

Questions

The things people ask before they rent.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?
No. The lease is month to month. Rent is due on the first of each month, and you can move out whenever you like — just leave the unit broom clean and in the condition you found it.
Who provides the lock?
You do, and you keep the only key. We don't hold a copy. We recommend a solid disc lock or a heavy-duty padlock rather than a cheap hardware-store one.
What are the access hours?
You can get to your unit any time of day or night — there are no set office hours to work around.
Is the property on camera?
Not at this time. Cameras may go in later, but we’d rather not advertise something before it’s installed and proven. Your unit is secured by your own lock — you keep the only key and we don’t hold a copy. Whatever you store, carry your own insurance on it.
Is there a deposit?
Yes — a security deposit equal to one month's rent, paid at signing along with your first month. If you start mid-month, that first payment is prorated for the days remaining.
Are the units climate controlled?
No. The units aren't heated or cooled and have no electricity or plumbing. Don't store anything that can freeze, melt, or be ruined by summer heat — that includes liquids, candles, certain electronics, and some musical instruments.
Is my stuff insured?
Not by us. Stored property isn't covered by the facility's insurance, so you'll want your own coverage. Many homeowner's and renter's policies extend some protection to off-site storage — worth a call to your agent before you move in.
What can't I store?
Nothing flammable, combustible, or hazardous — no fuel, propane, paint thinner, chemicals, or ammunition. No living things, no perishable food, and nothing illegal. Everything stored must be yours.
What happens if I'm late on rent?
A $5 late charge is added if rent isn't paid by the first, and an additional $30 if it's still unpaid 20 days after the due date. If an account goes far enough into default, West Virginia's self-storage lien law (WV §38-14-3) allows the facility to lock the unit and eventually sell the contents — but we'll send written notice well before it ever gets to that, and we'd much rather work something out with you.
Can I store a vehicle in an enclosed unit?
A car generally fits in a 10×20. For anything longer — a camper, a boat on a trailer, a dually — the outdoor parking spaces are the better fit. Give us a call with your length and we'll tell you what will work.
